Hello,
I'm carrying out an analysis using the information on birth registrations. I was trying to replicate Table 2.11 and ran this code using the Nepal 2011 PR file.
tab hv140 if hv105<5 &hv102==1 [iweight=hv005/1000000], m
member has a birth certificate | Freq. Percent Cum.
----------------------------------+------------------------- ----------
neither certificate or registered | 2,984.0771 56.63 56.63
has certificate | 1,990.1818 37.77 94.40
registered | 236.573437 4.49 98.89
don't know | 58.587957 1.11 100.00
----------------------------------+------------------------- ----------
Total | 5,269.4203 100.00
However, it seems that the labeling is switched for Table 2.11 in the report which indicates:
1) Percentage who had a birth certificate - 37.8 (THIS IS CORRECT)
2) Percentage who did not have a birth certificate - 4.5 (IT SEEMS THAT THIS SHOULD BE % REGISTERED)
3) Percentage registered - 42.3 (Could you please let me know how this was derived)
