Dear forum members,

I would like to study the trend in utilization of insecticide treated bed nets in Malawi by including data from last five surveys. I am trying to know how to merge datasets by year to see the longitudinal trends in bed net use.

I am using SPSS/Stata.

Thanks in advance for your valuable insights.

Nile

Following is a response from Senior DHS Stata Specialist, Tom Pullum:

This is not a merge. It is an append, which is much easier. In Stata, you can enter "help append". I don't know about SPSS but it should be equally easy in SPSS. There have been previous posts related to appending files.
