DHS Haiti 2016-17
https://userforum.dhsprogram.com/index.phpindex.php?t=rview&goto=19049&th=8821#msg_19049
I had two questions regarding location data and socioeconomic data for the DHS in Haiti.
-I reviewed the coding documentation and I do not see a variable for department (or any administrative district). Are these data not available?
-Secondly, I do not see a variable in the coding documentation for household income. Might you direct me to where I might find that for Haiti?
And if you could entertain a less important query, would DHS contain information on non-communicable disease prevalence or is that the SPA?
Thank you,

Following is a response from DHS Research & Data Analysis Director, Tom Pullum:
Departments are identified with hv024 ("Region") in the HR and PR files. In the other files the prefix is v or mv. Income data were not collected. The DHS Wealth Index is given by hv270 in the HR and PR files. In the other files it is v190 or mv190.

If I may ask one final question. Is there non-communicable disease data in the 2016-17 DHS survey for Haiti? If so, which variables might you direct me to use?
