Difference between v006 and hw18 in the child recode files (KR) [message #4421]

What is the difference between the two variables - v006 (month of interview) and hw18 (month measured) - in the child recode (KR) files? They do not match for all observations, and hw18 is absent for some countries. hw18 also contains many missing values.
Appreciate any help!
