Sikkim state in surveys IA2 and IA5 for the India DHS [message #4071]

Hello folks.

I noticed that the state of Sikkim was sampled in the 1998 DHS IA3, however it was not sampled in the previous survey 1992 (IA2) or the subsequent survey 2004 (IA5). I was just wondering why the state had not been sampled in IA2 and IA5, since it was not a newly created state. Was the data for Sikkim merged into the data of another state perhaps? Thanks.
