ML1 and ML2 variables in the child recode file are used to calculate the IPT indicator when the child is the unit of analysis. Is this correct?

I am trying to bring the IPT indicator into an analysis where febrile children under five are the study population (to capture that their mother received IPT during last pregnancy). However, there are a large number of missing values in the IPT variable when calculated using ML1 and ML2, and not sure why this is the case. Any explanation would be helpful.

Otherwise, how should I approach bringing the IPTp indicator into the child recode file?

Thanks
Emily
