Dear DHS Experts,

I am conducting an analysis on district level data of the India DHS4 dataset, trying to identify the different districts with the SDIST variable. However, I am unable to find documentation on identifying the different districts based on the number assigned under this variable. I have followed the advice on previous posts on consulting the .map file included in download of the DHS dataset, but in it, only the SSTATE variable is further explained. Does there exist any other documentation through which I could find further information on the SDIST variable in the 4th round of the DHS?

Hi,

The India points were displaced to be in the correct district. If you had a district boundaries shapefile, you should be able to connect the clusters to the correct district. For more information about accessing the points, please see this post:
