Dear folks,

When tabulating v714 (Respondent currently working), more than 80 percent observations have missing value. Is it correct?

v714 : respondent currently working
Frequency %(NA+) %(NA-)
no 87082 13.3 76.1
yes 27383 4.2 23.9
NA's 541384 82.5 0.0
Total 655849 100.0 100.0

Thank you.

Following is a response from Senior DHS Specialist, Fred Arnold:

All the questions in the woman's questionnaire in Section 7 (Other health issues), Section 8 (Sexual life), Section 9 (Husband's background and women's work), Section 10 (HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections), and Section 11 (Household relations domestic violence) are asked only in a subsample of 15% of households. This is described clearly in the national report.
