Hi!
I am about to analyse data from the Inventory questionnaire from the 2013 Malawi SPA survey. I have now found the questions 700 (19) and 2331 (19) A/B where its asked about the oxygen distribution system in the health facility. We fail to understand the definition of "oxygen distribution system" and therefore I must ask you about this. And then what the difference is compared to the oxygen cylinder or oxygen concentrator.

Best regards,

Cecilia Lindsjö

Dear User,
A response from Dr. Hamdy Moussa:
Quote:

There are different modes of Oxygen delivery in a health facility:

Oxygen distribution system means that the health facility had a central oxygen delivery system.

Oxygen cylinder is a mobile cylinder that are used to transport oxygen.

Oxygen concentrator is an equipment that take in air and purify it for use by people requiring medical Oxygen.

Thank you!
