Hi DHS team,
Regarding, Jordan DHS 2012. The information given on refugee camps in the report is limited. I need more information on them. Are they Sryian refugees or what? Please give me more information on them.

Following is a response from Senior DHS Specialist, Bernard Barrere:

The sample of the 2012 DHS survey was designed to provide results for the "refugee camps", defined as only "Palestinian refugee camps". Camps for Iraqi, Syrian, or any other non-Palestinian refugees were not part of the sample.

Thanks for the comment. However, I read that the number of camps is around 13 camps. In the report, it suggested that the DHS interviewed 61 camps! How? Why such big discrepancy exist?

Following is another response from Bernard Barrere:

61 is not a number of camps. It is the number of Enumeration Areas (EAs) that were selected among the 431 EAs defined in the Camps according to the 2004 Jordan Population and Housing Census.
