To those familiar with Vietnam datasets,

After going through the Recode manual, I gathered that v024 is the variable indicating the region of the respondent.
Is the "province level" represented by this variable?
Are there info about the district of the respondent as well?

Thank you in advance.

Best,
Semee

Dear User,
Looking at all the final reports and the frequencies distributed with the data, all the Vietnam surveys on our website have a province variable which is country / survey specific.
The Province variable:
SHPROVIN: Province/Municipality (at household level)
SPROVIN : Province/Municipality (at individual level)
There is no further information about the district of the respondents. You may want to contact the implementing agency in the country to see if further information is available through them and whether they are free to release it. Contact information for the implementing agencies at the time of the survey can be found on the citation page which is right after the title page in the final report. If you access the report through our website, you will see a bookmark for the citation page.
Hope this helps. Thank you for your post.
