Hello

I'm trying to find the variable for female genital cutting in the individual recode for Liberia 2007. I cannot find it. Has anyone been through this before?

thanks in advance

Hi
Sorry for the mixup. It turns out that there is FGM information in Liberia 2007.
in the file LBIR51FL - individuals' recode - there is the variable s959
it's a dummy variable asking whether the respondent is a member of sande society or a woman's bush society
apparently this is a proxy for FGM

You are right about S959 - it is a proxy for FGM.
