Hello,

I have a question about the meaning of the number 4 (camp rur) in v134 of HTIR12 (Haiti). I know that sometimes 4 means abroad, but here 4 refers to "camp rur". I do not understand its meaning.

thank you very much!

Sorry, but if the DHS specialist's time allows, I would be very happy to have the answer to my question.

Thank you very much!

Following is a response from DHS Data Processing Specialist Amadou Sow:

For Haiti Survey data was collected inside the CAMPS, and we produced the data by putting the CAMP data separately. That's why we have CAMP RURAL and CAMP URBAN (see freq below for V134 and V026. (V134 is derived from V026)).

Thank you so much! This helps me a lot. Just one more question, I find that in HTIR00, the category 1 in v026 is "cape hai". Could you please tell me the meaning of it?

Thank you again!

Another response from Amadou Sow:

Cape hai = Cap Haitien. It's a region/commune in Haiti.
