Hi,
I am trying to reproduce results for the column totals (Wanted then, Wanted later & Wanted no more) for Table 6.5 Fertility planning status but I can't seem to find an appropriate code in the GitHub repo. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Following is a response from Senior DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:

I modified, for the Kenya 2022 survey, a program that I prepared for Cambodia 2021-22 last August (See attached).

There may be a problem with the second panel of table 6.5 as given in the report. I noticed that the rows of that panel add up to 11,387, which is 830 cases lower than the stated total. I am looking into that discrepancy and will post an update when I know more.

Thanks so much for providing the do file. I have tried using the approach for KDHS 2014 dataset but am encountering the error as per the attached screenshot.

Following is a response from Senior DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:

The code I gave with pord and other "p" variables was for DHS-8 surveys, which include pregnancy histories. It works on the Kenya 2022 survey and other DHS-8 surveys.

For the Kenya 2014 survey, table 6.5 is a little different. It applies just to births, not to pregnancies. Here is a program I wrote about 5 years ago for DHS 6 and 7 surveys. I just checked it on Kenya 2014 and it works EXCEPT THAT the table in the final report for that survey includes a column for "missing". I don't know where that column comes from. Other surveys, such as Uganda 2016, do not include a "missing" column in table 6.5. I can't take the time to figure out where that column comes from.
