I am trying to generate the GBV indicators Experienced emotional violence in past 12 months by any partner using the attached do file from DHS GitHub repository and datasets for KDHS 2021. However, I encounter an error variable d130c not found in the line
replace dv_aprtnr_emot = 1 if (dv_prtnr_emot==1 | (d130c>0 & d130c<=3))
Wasn't this a question in DHS 7?

Following is a response from Senior DHS staff member, Jeff Edmeades:

While the emotional violence questions were asked in the 2014 KDHS about emotional violence, these were only asked about the current/most recent partner (this changed by the KDHS 2022). This means that you cannot calculate figures for emotional violence for any partners in the 2014 KDHS (though this is possible in the 2022 KDHS).

Thanks so much for the guidance. It makes sense since I was able to replicate the 2014 report estimates using the same logic.
