Hello

So I want to merge Indonesian male adolescent dataset with household dataset. Apparently, in male adolescent data set, wealth index is not included so I have to draw it from the household data set. However, the problem is that there is not key variable to use. I tried to use QCLUSTER and QNUMBER (number of household) but apparently those fail me miserable as they are not unique and therefore can't be drawn to my adolescent data set.

Following is a response from DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:

Can you give me the filename of the "male adolescent dataset"?

Have you tried creating a new variable that combines multiple variables from both datasets? For example, you could create a new variable that combines the household number and the individual number from the male adolescent dataset. This new variable would be unique and could be used as a key variable for merging. I think that it's a option for you.

His newly created variable would be one of a kind and might be used as a key variable for the purpose of merging.

In the directory and filename textboxes, enter 'renamed file' and @replace(item(). name, ' ','_') respectively. What the above step does is it tells ADF to copy the csv files into a different container called renamed file and replace the blank spaces in file name with an underscore.

In the implicit stratification, the census blocks were stratified by urban and rural areas and ordered by wealth index category. Slope Game
