Greetings. For my project, I require identifying households that belong to below poverty line(bpl) in 1998-1999. However, I cannot find the variable in NFHS-2. I will be grateful if you can help me solve this issue.

The NFHS-2 questionnaires do not have any questions related to whether or not the household is below the poverty line or whether the household has a BPL card, so you will not be able to identify households that are below the poverty line.
