The 2007 Zambia DHS collected data on maternal mortality. The upcoming 2013 Zambia DHS will also be collecting data on maternal mortality. For future reference, you can choose the country and topic of interest from the Survey Search tool of the MEASURE DHS website to find out when different types of data have been collected in different countries.

Here is a response from one of our data processing experts, Ms. Mianmian Yu:
Maternal mortality is not tabulated on provincial level. If MM2 ( Survival status of sibling ) is 1, it counts a live birth.

Hello, i am working on secondary data provided by PDHS of year 2007. Please guide me which variables should i use to make a complex sampling plan in both softwares, STATA and SPSS. Secondly please suggest me that which model should i fit on my study about "significance of antenatal visits".
