Hi All,
I'm currently working with the Indonesia 2012 DHS dataset, and have noticed that for the variable M19a (whether or not the baby was weighed at birth) there is a category called "Special Answers". This category does not appear in the DHS recode manual, and I haven't come across it in any other DHS.
Given that the other categories (Not weighed, Weighed - weight from written card, Weighed - Weight from mother's recall, and Don't know) seem to cover every response to "was (NAME) weighed at birth?" I'm not sure what type of answers these could be. Does anyone know what this category is representing?
