Dear DHS users,

I am using the 2010 Burundi DHS data. In the north region, it is reported that there were 2330 respondents(1312 women and 1019 men) who had been interviewed et HIV tested. However, the sum is 2331 (and not 2330) and the total number of respondents will then be 8088 instead of 8087, the reported number (because of rounding).

1311.667141 = 1312
1018.611022 = 1019

What is the correct number?

Thanks.

If you add before rounding, versus round before adding, it is normal that you'd sometimes get a difference of one.
